#TheWorstEndingEver Is Trending On Twitter And People Are Sharing Their Picks

With the abundance of TV shows and Movies that come out these days it’s impossible that they’d all get their endings right, lots of shows have left fans disappointed with how they ended and people on Twitter are sharing their biggest disappointments.

So let’s take a look at what people are saying about #TheWorstEndingEver.

Was the first thing that came to mind for me as well.

Never watched the show , just wasn’t my kinda thing but I’m a huge fan of Nathan Fillion

I think no Kevin Spacey was a good move considering he’s a sexual predator…

Hard to have a good ending when the show barely got started.

Then there’s always someone that makes everything political, these hashtags are usually a nice little break from all the bad shit in the world.

Yea that ending makes me want to cry too…

Think she may have missed the whole point…

Loved this show, if it had 2 more seasons it could have been done so well.

Wish they’d come out with a new Stargate series…

Agreed 2020 is turning out like a bad sequel…

What TV shows or movies do you think had the worst endings?

5 Actors and Actresses That Deserve Our Attention

There are so many movies featuring so many different actors and actresses these days that some really great talent can get lost in the shuffle and just not get the credit they really deserve. I can’t count the amount of times I’m watching a movie or television show and my favorite character on it will be played by someone that isn’t super famous and hasn’t won a bunch of awards, then I see these same people in other movies or shows and they do it again and again and it leaves me baffled as to why more people don’t appreciate the charisma and personality these actors and actresses bring to the screen. Some people on this list will be known pretty well and others will only be known by a small group of fans, these are just my personal picks and by no means meant to be a definitive list.

Joe Gilgun

Joseph William Gilgun or Joe Gilgun was born on March 9, 1984 in Chorley, Lancanshire, England who got his first role at the age of 10 on the TV series Coronation Street where he would stay until the age of 13. Although he would still study theatre he would end up working as a plasterer for awhile before getting back into acting full time when cast as Eli Dingle in Emmerdale from 2006-2010 but the first role he would really shine in would be in the TV series Misfits where he played a character named Rudy who could make an exact copy of himself. although he would come into the series late he would quickly become the best thing about it. The next show he would truly shine in would be the AMC series Preacher where he plays the most likable vampire you’ve ever seen on screen and was once again the best part of the series. He is currently starring in the British comedy series Brassic and I for one hope to see lots more from him in the future.

Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Christina Plaza was born on June 26, 1984 in Wilmington, Delaware and would begin her career performing improv with The Upright Citizens Brigade in 2004. She is best known for her roles on Parks and Recreation, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and the FX series Legion. Although she is pretty well known for her roles and she is a terrific actress it is her off screen personality that really makes her stand out, she makes awkwardness an artform and is one of the most enjoyable people to see interviewed as you never know what she might say next. I absolutely adore her and hope to see her in lots more in the future.

Diane Guerrero

Diane Guerrero was born on July 21, 1986 and grew up In Boston where she remained after her entire family was deported to Colombia when she was 14 and she is an advocate for immigration reform. Probably best known for her role as Maritza Ramos on Orange Is The New Black but the role that I personally loved her in the most was as Crazy Jane in the TV series Doom Patrol. The show is a decent show regardless but her portrayal as a mentally ill woman with dozens of personalities, each with their own superpowers was leap and bounds above the rest of the cast and I feel she carried this show from mediocrity to something worth watching.

Alfie Allen

Alfie Evan Allen was born on September 11, 1986 in Hammersmith, London, England and is best known for his role as Theon Greyjoy on the HBO series Game of Thrones and is little brother to pop singer Lily Allen who even wrote a song about him titled “Alfie”. Although he had lots of roles before Game of Thrones and he has lots of roles in the works right now it will always be his portrayal as Theon Greyjoy that proves what an amazing actor he really is. In my opinion it was one of the greatest performances in TV history where he took us along on a journey of horrific hardships, bad decisions and ultimately redemption, his storyline is what I’ll still remember about the show 10 years from now.

Ashley Johnson

Ashley Johnson was born on August 9, 1983 is probably best known for her role on the TV series Blindspot and she has done a ton of voice acting but every time I hear her voice I will always think of the video game The Last of Us for which she voiced the character Ellie who was one of two main characters. This game and it’s storyline put most movies to shame and is perhaps the best game of all time in many people’s minds. To evoke emotion simply with your voice the way she does in this game is amazing and beyond talented. With The Last of Us 2 coming out next year I absolutely can’t wait for her to reprise her role as Ellie and to go on another epic adventure with the character.

13 Binge-Worthy Sci-Fi and Fantasy Shows

I love watching a show that brings me into another world filled with miracles and impossibilities, television is a great way to escape from the stresses of real life and Sci-Fi and Fantasy shows execute this perfectly. I’m currently waiting for new seasons of my favorite shows or new shows in general to get into but as of right now I’m fresh out of new stuff to watch but realizing that’s not the case for everyone I figured I’d share my favorite shows to binge. This is by no means a definitive list, simply some of my personal favorites.

Stranger Things

I feel like everyone has seen Stranger Things but to not add it to this list would be a crime. The Netflix series Created by the Duffer Brothers Stranger Things has a little bit of everything that us geek types love, a little Dungeons & Dragons, some parallel dimensions, horrific monsters and more 80’s nostalgia than you can keep track of. With a great cast featuring David Harbour, Winona Ryder and Matthew Modine this series has been great so far and just keeps getting better with no signs of slowing down. With 3 current seasons and a 4th on the way this is a great show to get into even if it’s for a second time.

Dark

Another Netflix series Dark is a German Sci-Fi series that is kind of like Stranger Things different enough to be its own thing. Although it is a German film it is dubbed in english and done pretty well so after awhile you don’t even notice. Focusing on Time Travel and all the consequences of it Dark so many twists and turns you may just have watch it 2 or 3 times to completely understand what’s going on. With 2 seasons so far there is plenty of show to sink your teeth into and it leaves things off in a way that almost guarantees future seasons.

Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

A spin-off series from the Avengers movie Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs on ABC and Focuses on Phil Coulson who we last saw in the Avengers movie when Loki stabbed him and we presumed he was dead but this series shows that Nick Fury brought him back from the brink and he now runs his own team of agents. There have been 6 seasons so far with a 7th final season set to air in 2020. The show has featured some great comic book characters such as Ghost Rider, Absorbing Man and Lady Sif and is certainly worth checking out for any comic book fan.

Lost Girl

I’m honestly not sure where you can watch this show currently as it finished up quite a few years back but if you can find it and haven’t seen it you should. almost every kind of fantasy race or creature you can think of eventually makes an appearance on Lost Girl. Revolving around the life of a woman named Bo who finds out she is a succubus and gets introduced to a world full of fantastic things that she never knew existed. With 5 seasons there is plenty of show to keep you entertained for quite a while.

Game of Thrones

Based on the books by George R.R. Martin Game of Thrones ran from 2011 through 2019, airing on HBO it is a show that a lot of people spent a decade of their life with, loving characters just to have them taken away. The show focuses mainly on the Stark family but follows the lives of so many characters that you really can’t call any one character the focus of the show. It’s a masterpiece of a show and if you haven’t seen it yet you’re missing out big time. With a great cast like Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke the talent just pours right off the screen not to mention the amazing performance by Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy, it’s honestly one of the best performances I’ve ever seen in anything. If you haven’t already take this 8 season journey with some of the best characters you’ll ever see on your TV screen.

The Walking Dead

Based on the Comic Books by Robert Kirkman The Walking Dead has had 10 crazy successful seasons and is one of the best shows on television right now. Based in a world where the dead rise back up and become a constant danger but over the 10 seasons the show’s true genius shines through as it starts to focus more on how humans are the real monster and we all have a bit of that monster inside when pushed to that point. Starring Andrew Lincoln, Michael Rooker, Norman Reedus and kick-starting the career of Jon Bernthal who by the way is the best version of The Punisher anyone will ever see, this show is a can’t miss.

Preacher

Based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis Preacher Airs on AMC and is the most ridiculous and twisted take on religion that you will ever see and takes you on a journey that will both amuse you and horrify you with it’s blatant blasphemy and disregard for political correctness. The show recently finished up it’s 4th and final season and is now wrapped up in a neat little package you can binge from start to finish. Starring Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun this show is tons of fun but certainly not for the whole family.

Star Trek: The Next Generation

With 178 episodes over 7 seasons there is plenty of Star Trek here for any fan of the franchise, I like the original series and a couple of the others as well but TNG has a special place in my heart, In the 5th grade I had to miss school for 3 months and this show was pretty much my best friend during that time and I mean come on…Patrick Stewart as Jean Luc Picard. You can’t go wrong there. It’s a great Sci-fi show to just sit back and relax to without all the confusing twists and turns modern Sci-Fi tends to have it won’t leave your brain hurting like some other series do.

Future Man

Created by Howard Overman and airing on Hulu Future Man depicts the story of a janitor who is visited by time travelers and told he is the only one that can save the world. the show has a great comedic spin on the time travel genre and is highly entertaining, it stars Josh Hutcherson and Haley Joel Osment and has 2 seasons so far with a third final season yet to come. Not a ton of show to binge here but it fits a lot of fun into each episode.

Rick and Morty

When Ricky and Morty first aired I had multiple friends tell me I should check it out and I just kept telling them that I’m not really a fan of cartoons but one night I was sitting bored and figured why not and you know what? It’s hands down my favorite show right now animated or otherwise, created by Dan Harmon and Justin Roil the show is pure genius with a perfectly twisted sense of humor. Following the adventure of Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty the show delves into the idea that there are infinite parallel universes with infinite versions of everyone and everything, it leaves the show with endless possibilities. With 3 seasons so far and a 4th coming in November, 2019 this one will keep you entertained for a long time to come. I have seen every episode like 100 times and am still not sick of it.

The Boys

In my opinion the best Amazon Original they’ve produced so far The Boys is set in a world where Superheroes are all too real and they’re just as flawed as the rest of us. A grittier take on the Superhero genre The Boys is all about a group of normal guys trying to take down the corrupt and twisted superheroes of the world who have started thinking themselves as basically gods. It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and only has 1 season so far but has already been renewed for a 2nd one. Starring Karl Urban and Elizabeth Shue this is one you don’t want to miss.

Carnival Row

Another Amazon Original Carnival Row takes us into a world where fairies are real and they are treated with bigotry and hatred, It takes the problems we deal with in the real world and explores them in a fantasy setting. Starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne this series has real potential and although it only has 1 season so far , it has already been renewed for a second and shows a bright future.

Good Omens

Yet another Amazon Original and yet another great show Good Omens is based on the novel of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. It follows the exploits of a Demon named Crowley(David Tennant) and an Angel named Aziraphale(Michael Sheen) who are best friends even though they are on different sides of the great war between good and evil. It is a nice comedic approach to the apocalypse and although is only 6 episodes is totally worth a one day binge.

Parallels Between Game of Thrones and The Bible

While talking to my best friend this morning about the fact that the King James version of the bible has the word dragon in it 21 times and I realized that there are many other similarities between the Bible and Game of thrones, besides the fact they both speak of dragons let’s go over some of the other parallels, I’m going to be comparing the bible to the TV show as the books are not finished yet and I came up with all of this in about 30 minutes this morning so I’m sure I may miss some things, I’m not a big believer in the Bible but I do know the stories contained within it from when I was a kid and how close they are to some parts of Game of Thrones is actually kind of crazy.

Jon Snow

Jon Snow was the son of royalty, the rightful king and was raised by another man, Ned Stark and his wife, Jesus was the son of God and was raised by Joseph and his wife but that isn’t where the Jon Snow and Jesus similarities end, they were both betrayed by people they thought of as friends and died because of it, they were both dead for a prolonged amount of time before being resurrected and the room Jon Snow was shut in while waiting to be raised from the dead is very much like the cave Jesus was shut into while awaiting his resurrection, the similarities end though after they are raised from the dead as Jesus forgives his betrayers whereas Jon Snow executes all of his, it’s a working theory and it’s not perfect but the similarities are there.

Plague of Blood/Battle of the Bastards

The Bible speaks of 10 plagues and although I couldn’t find parallels with all 10 plagues I did with quite a few of them and the first plague in the Bible is a plague of blood. I equate this plague to The Battle of The Bastards on Game of Thrones as the battle left piles and piles of bodies and rivers of blood on the ground and was perhaps the bloodiest episode of the show.

Plague of Boils/Greyscale

“So the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘Take for yourselves handfuls of ashes from a furnace, and let Moses scatter it toward the heavens in the sight of Pharaoh. And it will become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and it will cause boils that break out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt’” (Exodus 9:8-9) is what the Bible says about the Plague of Boils and I can’t help but view Greyscale as its counterpart, a disease in Game of Thrones that grows all over the person’s skin like hard rock is close enough to boils for me.

Plague of Locusts/The Dothraki

Maybe a bit of a looser connection on this one but the bible says “…if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory. And they shall cover the face of the earth, so that no one will be able to see the earth; and they shall eat the residue of what is left, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which grows up for you out of the field” (Exodus 10:4-5). and I can’t help but think about the Dothraki and how they attack in huge herds of horses running over armies like nothing can stop them, although the Dothraki weren’t really portrayed as if they were a plague they did end up on the wrong side in the end of the show and they did take part in over running more than one army like a plague of locusts.

Plague of Darkness/The Night King’s Army

“Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.’ So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days” (Exodus 10:21-22). The Night king’s name even implies darkness and the way the undead army washed over the north and especially the final battle at Winterfell was all about darkness, it’s not difficult at all to see the similarities here.

Plague of the First Born

“Then Moses said, ‘Thus says the Lord: “About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt; and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the animals.

Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again. But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, against man or beast, that you may know that the Lord does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel”’” (Exodus 11:4-7).

This one isn’t a perfect theory but think about it for a minute how many first born children actually made it to the end of Game of Thrones, Rob stark died, all of Cersei’s children died, Beside little Sam and Jon Snow I can’t think of any first borns who actually survived to the end of the series.

I’m still working on the theory as a whole and will update this when I come up with more, is there anything I missed that you thought of? let me know with a comment.
